• First of all you need to find the ip address of your android device. Go to “Settings” -> “WLAN Settings” -> “Advanced”. At the bottom you can find the ip address of your device. (Might vary from device to device)
  • Now start the OmniRAT app and navigate to the “Settings” activity. Use a port of your choice and start listening. Make sure the port you use is portforwarded correctly to the ip address of your device.
  • Navigate to the “Compile Client” activity and compile the client with your ip and port. In the field “ID” you can put any String to recognize your Client later.
  • After successfully compiling, you will receive a link to download the client. Download and run the client on your computer and it will immediately show up on your android device.

That´s the whole procedure to set up OmniRAT. Now you can enjoy OmniRAT!

  • Now start the OmniRAT Server by double-clicking “Server.jar”. Open the “Settings” window and start listening on a port of your choice. Make sure the port you use is portforwarded correctly to the ip address of your computer.
  • Building the client is a bit complicated, but once done very easy to comprehend.
  1. Download the Java JDK 7 and install it.
  2. After installation change the Java JDK installation path in the path.ini file.
  3. Now you are ready to build the Client. In order to achieve this open a command prompt again and navigate to the OmniRAT/Builder directory.
  4. Build a client by entering the following: “java -jar OfflineCompiler.jar ip port”
  5. After a few seconds you will see the “Client.jar” in the “Builder” directory.
  • Now you can run the Client.jar on your machine and it will immediately show up.

That´s the whole procedure to set up OmniRAT. Now you can enjoy OmniRAT!

  • You can not build the client application for android yourself at the moment. We need to build it for you, so just tell us your ip, port and optionally an icon and name for the app. We will make it for you immediately. Once we built it and you received it, you can install it on your android device. After installation it will show up immediately.
